Approach and Background
I work to provide a space where clients experience a nonjudgemental, explorative, and insightful therapeutic environment. I value your autonomy and believe the individual knows themselves best. We will work together to find ways to empower you and your strengths while identifying areas of distress and areas for growth to help you live a more balanced and enjoyable life. My approach is humanistic and trauma-informed utilizing practices from mindfulness, somatics, ACT, and parts-work. My approach to therapy is based in both a social justice and an intersectional-feminist perspective, aiming to recognize systemic oppressive forces which hinder wellbeing. I am sex-positive and kink/gender/sexuality affirmative.
I am a Tucson native but spent several years in New York City where I received my bachelors degree in Psychology from The New School. I completed my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. I have advanced training in trauma treatment (CCTP-II) and experience working with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, relational issues, identity formation, neurodivergence, and life transitions. I provide services for individuals, adults and adolescents.
